International Cooperation
By the end of 2006, Zhejiang University of Technology has established collaboration relations with 38 foreign research institutions and institutions of higher education. The exchanges of faculty and students between the institutions and ZJUT have been frequent and effective. ZJUT also, at present, has joint educational programs with the University of Tasmania, Australia, Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE , Australia, and Leeds Metropolitan University, UK.

Foreign Teachers Since 1993, ZJUT has employed more than 200 foreign teachers (both long-term and short-term) from U.S.A., Britain, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Russia, Japan, etc. Long-term teachers are those whose terms of office are more than 6 months. At present, the majority of long-term teachers are teachers of foreign languages. Short-term teachers are those whose terms of office are less than 6 months, giving lectures, doing researches or helping solving problems in academic research programs.
